Claudia Garcia
Native of Chile, Claudia Garcia has had the
affinity for music and dance since childhood.
She came to the United States a little over three
years ago specifically to pursue her dreams of
becoming a professional dancer.
Since her early years, Claudia has been training
in ballet, jazz, ballroom and Latin dances. She
has toured with youth groups all over Chile, performing
at various venues and events. Prior to moving
to United States, Claudia studied Physical Education,
gaining greater knowledge and understanding of
the mechanics of the human body, as well as dynamics
of the dance.
Claudia's greatest love among the dances had
become Argentine Tango - the dance itself, the
music, and the culture! Even though her formal
training in Tango started while she was already
in United States, she had watched and admired
tangueros and tangueras all throughout her life!
Claudia trained with Forest and Tina Mayer, Vladimir
Estrin, Miguel
Cardoso, Orlando
Paiva Jr., as well as Natalia
Hills and Francisco Forquera. She has been
performing at various special engagements, milongas
and private events. Claudia has also been featured
in several international music videos.
